It’s the lady of the hour, grandma Ramba Her page →
Ramba is getting to enjoy a day outside in weather unusually lovely for this time of year. Why is that such a big deal? Ramba doesn’t do great it in the cold (it’s winter in Chile). To keep warm, she will spend most of her day inside of her small barn. Consu and Diego try to do everything they can to keep her occupied, but it’s boring, and she can become frustrated.
Thankfully today was all about soaking up the sun, doing some dusting and walking around to get her body moving. Not only is it better for her health, but it makes her and her caregivers feel brighter.
We look forward to sharing photos of Ramba that don’t have those dinosaurs in the background anymore and instead, other elephants. Thank you to everyone who has given to her rescue. Your gifts will make it possible to fly her to Elephant Sanctuary Brazil. And for those who may not know about her rescue, or would still like to give, just follow the link above. You too can be part of giving her a new life.
And please, share widely. Sharing is caring

August 8, 2019 at 5:48 amThe climate at GSE will be so much better for her, for all the musculoskeletal knocks she must have had in her life. And so much more stimulating to encourage her to walk and explore and swim…
