The transport crate has officially left the Sanctuary. It is currently en route to Ribeirão Preto, SP, Brazil.
Scott, along with our transport team, will be heading to the zoo later this week. Once there, he will help acclimate Bambi to the crate and bring her home. Stay tuned and keep an eye on our page! Once Scott arrives at the zoo, he will begin doing regular Facebook Lives. We hope you all follow along with Bambi’s journey to a new beginning.

RESCUE TEXT MESSAGES FROM THE ROAD
As those who have followed past rescues know, the rescue team sends text messages from the road. The Internet is intermittent, but we try to keep our supporters as updated as possible.
- For those of you who have signed up on previous rescues, you will remain on the list for Bambi’s rescue.
- For those who have not received text updates in the past, and would like to, you can sign up with your cellphone number here (Cell phones only; no landlines as they can’t receive text messages.)
- How to opt-out: anyone already signed up, who would like to not receive updates for Bambi’s trip, can cancel updates at any time by texting ‘STOP’ to an old or new text thread.
