Bambi, Maia, and Guillermina were once again at the pond in the morning, though Bambi at first decided to stick to a favorite spot near the edge. Guille, after getting absolutely soaked and splashing near the lazy Maia, left the pond and headed for the trees, perhaps for some shade or for a little after-breakfast walk. It took a few minutes, but Bambi finally decided to make her way into the pond, but she opted to sit down on the shore instead of walking all the way in. 

As she sprayed herself with the cool water, Bambi began moving her bottom around for some satisfying scratches. It must have felt nice because she started putting her trunk in the air, maybe showing her delight at such a squishy scratch.
