A Heartfelt Thank You

We wanted to say thank you to all of you who purchased items off of the two wishlists yesterday, and liked and shared the post. Almost all of the items were gone within 12 hours of posting. Absolutely spectacular!! It is a huge expense that now doesn’t exist with all of you buying the much-needed supplies for us. We have definitely filled the four suitcases and will store the extras for someone’s next trip to the sanctuary. Thank you for caring not only for our elephants, but also the dogs, goats, chickens, and sanctuary staff. Your love is felt from here.


Some of you are only seeing the post now and are asking if there’s anything still to be done. There is just one larger ticket item left on the Amazon wishlist or you can purchase a gift card in any amount and send it to kat @ globalelephants.org

But there are also other items we have to buy that cannot be put on the list, like Bambi’s eyedrops, Lady’s compounded omeprazole, Emcelle for all of the elephants, snacks for staff through nuts dot com, along with the extra luggage fee for the fifth bag we’re pretty sure will now be brought as well. You can give through our main donate page and check ‘dedicate in honor’ of someone if you want to leave a note about what you would like your donation to go towards.

We are truly grateful for the dedication so many of you have to be part of providing the best life for everyone here at sanctuary. It takes all of us working together. Thank you for being part of it! πŸ’œ

    Wow!! Did someone buy the drone?? I bought on Chewy (my dog’s favorite place) and then went to Amazon. Had put one item in my cart, but when I went to place a second item in, Amazon must have updated itself, went blank, and lots of things disappeared! I assume the “traffic” must have been fierce! Let’s do this more often!

      We can only do it when people come to sanctuary from the US, but it’s always fun to see people enjoying themselves. And we’re so grateful for all of it!

    I tried ordering several times, but when I chose quantity, the screen went white. I wish I could have helped!

    I was one of those that had trouble with Amazon. I had tried to order the Vitamin and Mineral supplement mentioned for Rana, and boy, did I have trouble. I did wind up sending an equivalent donation through the website here, but forgot to say: It was fun to try though, and I’m glad that you and the girls and the dogs and goats, sheep, chickens, cat……….anyone has some of their necessities coming soon.
