A Dirt Pile for Kenya

This is a happy elephant. Well, this is an elephant having a happy moment. You can hear it (volume UP!), see it in her tail, in her body language, and in that cheesy grin.

This is Kenya’s reaction to, literally, a pile of dirt in her barren enclosure at the Ecoparque Mendoza in Argentina. Can you imagine? Can you take a moment to sit and think about her life today, and the excitement she experienced from a single load of dirt? Can you imagine how much more joy we could all give her by building the fences to her new habitat and bringing her to the Elephant Sanctuary Brazil?

10.7 acres of mud, ponds, trees, bushes, nature, and, yes, piles of dirt are just waiting to be fenced in for Kenya and other female African elephants that will join her. Instead of moments of happiness, we’d like to bring her to a lifetime of happiness.

We need your help to make this happen.  Use this link to donate or to learn more about Kenya and her wait for sanctuary.

Join the others who are building Kenya’s sanctuary one fence post at a time.

Every little bit counts, and Kenya deserves more – she deserves to spend the rest of her life with the same exuberance that we are able to glimpse in this video.

Well, bless her heart. Kenya will surely be amazed by sanctuary if she gets so excited by a pile of dirt.
