Internet woes all day today, but hopefully this will post at some point. Can’t miss a day with sweet Ramba (still in Chile) and her little hay wisps.
This morning was actually cold, so she spent many hours inside of the barn. She has rubber flaps and a heater to keep her warm, so the outer door can stay open, allowing her to walk out if she wants. It warmed up enough in the afternoon that she decided to go out and stick just her feet in the edge of her pond. I’m assuming that was more than enough to realize just how frigid the water was.
Ramba continues to do well as the humans around her try and sort out the next step in everyone’s life. Even though we talk about it, it’s still somewhat strangely unreal- for all of us. At this point, Ramba may be more mentally prepared than all of her humans. ?

October 8, 2019 at 11:27 amWhen the crate shows up, Caro, Consu and Diego will realize their life is about to change. I don’t think anyone could have provided the love and care these three gave Ramba. The cold days are almost over, Scott will be on the way soon very soon.
